Nurse Practitioner
Lisa is a native of Pierce County, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Valdosta State University in 1997. She later returned to school and earned her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2010 and a post-master's certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015 from Valdosta State University. She completed her terminal degree at Georgia Southern University and graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2020. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. During her career, she has worked as a nurse in postpartum, newborn nursery, surgery, and PACU (post-anesthesia care unit), and as a nurse practitioner in cardiology, hospitalist, Diabetes Relief, primary care and emergency medicine. Lisa lives in Blackshear with her husband, Ron. They have three daughters: Lexie (Kody) O’Steen, Bailey (Josh) Allen, and Brooke. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the lake and the beach with her family.
